Isabel Altamirano-Jiménez appointed as a 2026 Henry Marshall Tory Chair

The University of Alberta has recognized Isabel Altamirano-Jiménez's outstanding record of scholarly research, teaching and service to the University and community. 

The appointment is for 5 years starting September 1, 2026 and is renewable for an additional 5 years.

Named for the first President of the University of Alberta, recipients are outstanding individuals who excel in teaching, research and service to impact the university and the community.
