Vision 2031: Shaping Our Future Together

Vision 2031 will be developed through meaningful engagement and community consultation. This work will guide the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry’s priorities and impact over the next five years.

Throughout Spring 2026, we will undertake broad consultation with internal and external stakeholders to inform the path to 2031. Input from across and beyond the Faculty, including the communities we serve, will help shape key focus areas and chart a clear, shared path forward.

The Path to Vision 2031

Vision 2031 will build on the momentum and success of Vision 2025 while looking ahead to the opportunities for the next five years, and beyond. Grounded in our mission and core values, this next strategic plan will guide how we advance health and wellness through education, discovery and clinical care.

Developing Vision 2031 will be an active and collaborative process. We will engage faculty, staff, learners, health-care partners, alumni, donors and the communities we serve. Their perspectives will help shape priorities that are relevant, responsive and impactful.

As we move forward, we remain committed to putting people and communities first. Vision 2031 will continue to advance excellence across our academic and clinical missions, anchored in the core values of access, community and belonging and social accountability.

Together, we will shape a shared path forward — one that strengthens partnerships, amplifies impact and addresses the most pressing health challenges of our time.
