The International Visiting Student Program (IVSP) is a unique program allowing students to study at the University of Alberta for four, six, eight, ten or twelve months in English for Academic Purposes Courses and regular academic courses.

The International Visiting Student Program is an academic program designed using an experiential learning approach, combining intentional academic and intercultural programming, structured experiences, guided reflection, and enhanced student support and advising.
