Support for those affected by Hurricane Melissa

We understand the unfolding impact of Hurricane Melissa is causing considerable distress to members of our university community including faculty, staff and students. We recognize that this situation may be particularly challenging for those with personal, cultural or familial connections to Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica.

Some community members may be experiencing communication challenges with family and friends in the affected areas, financial concerns and feelings of distress. In response to these concerns, we have sent a message to students outlining the various support services and resources available through the university during this difficult time.
