| November 13, 2026 | Preliminary budget allocation letters sent out to faculties and portfolios |
| November 26, 2026 | Faculty plans and budgets submitted in advance of Tour of Deans |
| December 2-4, 2026 | Tour of Deans meetings |
| February 25, 2027 | Government of Alberta Budget 2027 announcement (tentative) |
| March 25, 2027 | Board of Governors decision on the university’s 2027-28 Budget |
| By May 31, 2027 | Approved budget letters sent out to faculties and portfolios |
| Before May 31, 2027 | University of Alberta 2027-28 Budget submission due to the Government of Alberta |
