Comprehensive Literature Searching
Description
This hands-on workshop will cover how to do a comprehensive literature search on a topic in the Medline database. Participants will learn to use several advanced search techniques such as subject headings and proximity searching. We will discuss new AI-based search programs and how you can use these tools for quick literature searches but also to strengthen your comprehensive literature searches.
Objectives
- Learn to create a structured comprehensive search in Medline
- Become familiar with 2 new AI-based search tools (Consensus and Undermind)
Target Audience
Any faculty member or researcher that is interested in doing a comprehensive search on a particular topic of interest. No previous experience needed!
