IBET PhD Fellowships
The Indigenous and Black Engineering and Technology Fellowships are the flagship fellowship for IBET PhD Project.
Recipients will receive up to $30,000 a year for four years, along with the support of industrial and academic IBET mentors, as they pursue doctorate degrees and specialized engineering research.
The IBET PhD Fellowship is intended to support Indigenous and Black researchers in achieving inclusion in academia at the University of Alberta. This fellowship, which is the result of a partnership between 18 Canadian universities, aims to increase diversity within these institutions and within engineering.
