Faculty-led Program

Enhance your learning by participating in a faculty-led program abroad!

The U of A Faculty-led Programs come in many formats — U of A-taught courses in Italy, a study tour of India focusing on culture, religion, and development, field studies in Costa Rica, an archaeological field school in Jordan, and much more. You will be part of a group of fellow students, and programs are led by a faculty member.

Programs can last anywhere from one week to one term. Some opportunities are embedded in U of A courses, while others are stand-alone experiences. Funding and awards are available; remember to apply!

“Don’t be afraid to do it. As a first-time traveller, this was all very new to me, but there were a lot of people who helped — I highly recommend talking to professors and the program advisor.”
